The Croke Park 2 deal is a sell-out which future generations will pay for

The details of Croke Park 2 are emerging and it looks like exactly the sell-out most of us feared. Public servants on over 65,000 will have their pay cuts reversed in three years. Nurses will have to work a mere hour and a half extra per week, and teachers will lose their supervision/substitution allowance but will have it restored in 2017. Overall, the Government says it will meet its 300 m euro target, but this is hard to believe. And as to what form, and over what time frame these savings will take place, is quite another matter.
